Creating new stock type

This section will cover how to create a new stock type.

Create New Stock Type:
Enter here the name of the new stock type. Eg. Raw Materials - HDPE

Prefix for New Records:
Enter here the prefix for the new stock type. Eg. 01_HDPE

Is a Pack?
Tick for yes or leave blank for no

Is a Bill of Material?
Tick for yes or leave blank for no

Is a Service item?
Tick for yes or leave blank for no

Default for New Records?
Tick for yes or leave blank for no

Record Batch Details?
Tick for yes or leave blank for no

Is a Tool Record?
Tick for yes or leave blank for no

Active

Editing existing stock types

At the bottom of the page, all existing stock types will be displayed, with all of the corresponding details.
To search for a particular stock type you can search by Prefix or Type Name, using the search bar on the right-hand side.
To edit stock type details press the Edit Button (edit) button.
Once edits are completed press the Modify it Button button.
To delete a stock type press the Delete Button (delete) button (use with caution).
