In This Section

This is where you can set the different VAT percentages within Spitfire for different customers.

The VAT Rates Section Has The Following Options Available.

Note: The acronym "VAT" will change depending upon what is currently setup on your system (e.g. GST).

List VAT Rates

This shows all of the current VAT Rates Setup.

Create / Edit VAT Rate

Use this option to create or edit VAT rates, the following options will be available:

Description
This is used throughout the system to explain the rate - e.g. "Standard" "Reduce" "Exempt"

VAT Rate
Numeric to 2 decimal places.

Sage Code
As Required, check with Support if you are unsure.

Quickbooks Code
As Required, check with Support if you are unsure.

Magento2 Code
As Required, check with Support if you are unsure.

EC VAT Code
Use this option to apply this rate to customers who are set as "EC Customers".

Active
Green for Active, Red for Inactive.

Default Rate
Green for Default, Red for Not Default.

Exempt Rate
Option to set this rate as the "Exempt" Rate.

Delete VAT Rate

Use this option to permanently delete a VAT Rate. This cannot be reversed and all of your stock records will be reset!
