In This Section
This is where you will be able to create a new user and edit current groups.
User Groups
This section will cover creating new user groups and editing existing groups.
Existing Groups
Once you arrive on the User Groups Maintenance page, a list of all existing groups will be displayed.
Group ID
This will display the group ID.
Group Name
This will display the name of the group.
Users
This will display the number of user ID's in the group, with the number of disabled user ID's in brackets.
Active
This will display the active status of the group.
Default
This will display the default status of the group.
SLA
This will display the SLA, in hours, for the group.
Action
This will display a number of actions available for each group. This will be covered in the following sections.
Create New Group
To create a new group, a template of blank information will be displayed at the top of the page.
Create New Group
Enter here the name of the new group.
Active
Enter here the active status for the new group. Tick for Yes or leave blank for No.
Default Group
Enter here the default status for the new group. Tick for Yes or leave blank for No.
SLA (hours)
Enter here the SLA, in hours, for the new group.
Limit Login by IP
Locks Spitfire down so that only people on the IP Address(es) listed in Restricted IPs can log into Spitfire.
Limit PIN Login by IP
This does the same as the limit login in by IP but with the PIN login page

This is where you put the list of IPs that can log into Spitfire.
Restricted PIN IPs
(separated by commas)
This is where you put the list of IPs that can log into Spitfire with their PIN.
Press the button to create the new group.
Actions
Next to all existing groups, a number of actions will be displayed.
Group Dashboard
Press the button to be redirected to the Maintain Dashboard page. This will be where the details of the groups dashboard can be modified.
Dashboard Name
This will display the name of each dashboard that is available to be enabled for the group.
Custom Title
Enter here if you are changing the custom title of each dashboard.
Custom Style
Enter here if you are changing the colour of each dashboard, by selecting from the drop-down menu.
Available
This will display which dashboards are currently available for the group. This can be modified by Ticking for Available or leaving blank for Unavailable.
Enabled
This will display what dashboards are available for the group. To enable a dashboard Tick or leave blank to Disable.
Position
This will display the position number of each dashboard. To change the position, type the new position number into the box.
Once information has been modified correctly press the button to save changes.
Group Permissions
To update the group permissions press the button to be redirected to the Maintain Permissions page.
Section
To update the access permission for a whole section, Tick for Allow Access or leave blank for Deny Access.
Selecting a section will automatically allow permission for the whole section.
Sub-section
To update access for an individual sub-section, Tick for Allow Access or leave blank for Deny Access.
This will allow you to update access for individual sub-sections, rather than a whole section, as previously described.
Once permissions have been correctly updated, press the button to save changes.
Edit
To edit any of the group's information, press the button to be redirected to the User Groups Maintenance page.
Edit Group Name
Enter here if you are updating the name of the group.
Active
Enter here if you are updating the active status of the group. Tick for Active or leave blank for Inactive.
Default Group
Enter here if you are updating the default status of the group. Tick for Default or leave blank for Not Default.
SLA (hours0
Enter here if you are updating the SLA hours of the group.
Once details have been modified correctly, press the to save changes.
Delete
To delete an existing group press the button. Use with caution.
