Discount Maintenance

When setting up a Discount Code (or looking at existing ones), please header over to "Sales Orders" -> "Discount Maintenance".

To create a new one

1. Applies to Site -> Select Site (if it is limited to a specific site).
2. Discount Code -> Letters and Numbers only, no spaces.
3. Apply % Off -> Percentage to Apply off the order (Ex VAT).
4. Apply value Off -> Amount to Deduct off the order (Ex VAT).
5. Valid From -> yyyy-mm-dd, the time will start at 00:00:00.
6. Valid To -> yyyy-mm-dd, the time will end at 23:59:59.
7. Applies to Customer -> Restrict voucher code to a specific customer.
8. Voucher Name -> Internal Voucher Name.
9. Applies to Full Site -> If you wish to apply this voucher to every product.
10. Applies to Manufacturer Only -> If you wish to apply this voucher to a specific manufacturer.
11. Max Uses -> Max number of uses, leave blank or enter "0" for unlimited.
12. Applies to Trade Customers -> By Default, all vouchers can only be used by retail customers, tick this box to apply to trade ones as well.
13. Minimum Order -> Minimum Order value (Ex VAT) - if any.
14. Cheapest Free -> If using the "Cheapest Free" mechanism, tick this box.
15. Purchase x Products -> Number of products to purchase as a minimum (this is quantity of products).
16. FOC Stock Item -> If offering a free stock item, search for it here.
17. Click "Create Discount Code".
