Account Categories

In this Section

This section will cover creating new account categories, viewing existing account categories and special pricing, editing and deleting existing categories.

Create new account category

To create a new account category a template to input details will appear once you click on the account categories section.

Category Name
Enter here the category name you would like to create.

Active
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Default
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Use for Customers
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Use for Supplier
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Customer Specific Pricing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Consolidating Invoicing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Select Consolidated Frequency
Select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

00:00
Enter here the time for daily consolation, in the format HH:MM.

Select for Weekly Consolidation
Select the appropriate day for weekly consolidation, from the drop-down menu.

Select for Monthly Consolidation
Select the appropriate day of the month for monthly consolidation, from the drop-down menu.

Allow Special Offer Pricing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Allow Quantity Break Pricing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Default Order Group
Select the appropriate group from the drop-down menu.

Cost Plus Pricing
Enter here the appropriate cost-plus pricing. This value should be recorded as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Group Discount
Enter here the appropriate group discount. This value should be recorded as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Override Delivery Method
Select the appropriate delivery method from the drop-down menu.

Once details have been input correctly, press the Create it Button button to save the new account category.

Viewing existing account categories

Existing account categories will be displayed once you click on the account categories section.
Existing account categories will have the following details displayed: ID, Name, Use for Customer, Use for Suppliers, Active status, Cost Plus, Discount, Specific Pricing, Default, Order Group and Action.

Action

Three actions will appear for each account category.

Category Special Pricing

Press the Blue s Button button to view and create category special pricing.

Create Category Special Pricing

To add a category special pricing, a blank template will appear for you to be able to input details.

SKU
Enter here the correct SKU associated with the special pricing category you would like to create.

Price
Enter here the correct price associated with the special pricing category you would like to create.

Date From
Enter here the correct start date for the special pricing category you would like to create. Enter this in the format of YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.

Date To
Enter here the correct end date for the special pricing category you would like to create. Enter this in the format of YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.

Once details have been input correctly press the Create price Button button to save the price.

Viewing Existing Category Special Pricing

If there is any category special pricing associated with the account category you have selected, it will show here.
Existing prices will have the following details displayed: SKU, Description, Cost, Price, Date From, Date To and Actions.

Edit

Press the E Button button to edit the price entry.


Delete

Press the Delete-box Button button to delete the price entry.

Edit

Press the E Button button to edit the account category.

Name
Enter here if you wish to update the account category name.

Active
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Default
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Use for Custoers
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Use for Suppliers
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Customer Specific Pricing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Consolidate Invoicing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Select Consolidated Frequency
If you are updating the consolidated frequency, select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

00:00
This will currently show the time at which daily consolidated frequency is set for. If you would like to update this, type in the updated time in the format of HH:MM:SS. Leave as 00:00 if weekly or monthly consolidation is selected.

Select for Weekly Consolidation
If you are updating the day for weekly consolidation, select the appropriate day from the drop-down menu.

Select for Monthly Consolidation
If you are updating the day for monthly consolidation, select the appropriate day of the month from the drop-down menu.

Allow Special Offer Pricing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Allow Quantity Break Pricing
Tick Tick Button for Yes or leave blank Blank Button for No.

Default Order Group
If updating the default order group, select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

Cost Plus Pricing
Enter here if you are updating the cost-plus pricing. Enter this value as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Group Discount
Enter here if you are updating the group discount. Enter this value as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Override Delivery Method
If you are updating the override delivery method, select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

Once details have been correctly modified press the Modify category Button button to save changes.

Product Group Uplift % Edits

Stock
Enter here if you are updating the stock percentage uplift. Enter this value as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Tools
Enter here if you are updating the tools percentage uplift. Enter this value as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Unassigned
Enter here if you are updating the unassigned percentage uplift. Enter this value as a percentage, to two decimal places.

Once details have been correctly modified press the Modify category Button button to save changes.

Delete

Press the Delete box Button button to delete the account category.
An account category cannot be deleted if there is customer or suppliers associated with it. Instead, if the delete button is pressed, it will be disabled and Group-Specific and Special Offer Pricing will be removed, so no new accounts can be associated with it.
